We were delighted to provide Funding for Creatives training to the Upper Shannon Erne Future Economy Creative Craft Group and Leitrim LEO this week to demystify the funding environment for creative businesses. The workshop covered a range of topics including:
- Funders and programmes at a local, national, cross border and EU levels – what is the best fit for you?
- Grant seeking basics – maximising your success
- Developing a compelling application – top tips to craft a winning funding application.
Over 20 creatives from across the region took part in a lively and engaging morning. We really enjoyed meeting this group who are a testament to the creativity of our region. Their dedication, passion and commitment to their work was very evident as well as a hunger to grow and learn. The future of the creative economy is truly safe in their hands!
